Foodback boosts North American presence with key hire

Stavanger, NORWAY – We are excited to announce that Derek Greenberg is joining Foodback as Senior VP of Sales, North America. Derek has been partnering with Foodback since March 2021 as a strategic advisor, and we are thrilled to have him officially join the team. He will play a pivotal role in establishing Foodback in the United States and Canadian markets, and will manage the North American sales team, as well as global product development, sales, and marketing.
Derek’s 30-plus year career in food & beverage includes senior sales and marketing positions at Procter & Gamble and Mars. He was most recently part of the senior leadership team at Recipe Unlimited Corp., Canada’s largest full-service restaurant chain with over 1,400 locations. At Recipe, Derek had several positions within business development, including Restaurant Ops, Guest Experience, Marketing, Restaurant IT, eCommerce, Off-premise businesses, and Off-premise Contact Center. For the past four years, he has been the VP of Business Development and Guest Experience at Recipe.
Derek’s extensive experience in the restaurant industry and focus on improving Guest Experience aligns directly with Foodback’s mission and values. His proven track record growing sales and business development makes him an excellent addition to the team, and we can’t wait to see him in action.
