Foodback hires Customer Experience Director
Stavanger, NORWAY – Scale-up company Foodback has hired Merete Medle (40) as Customer Experience Director. Merete will be in charge of the company’s customer experience, starting with building the area of Customer Success, to ensure new customers a seamless welcome in addition to managing the best possible experience for the existing customer portfolio.
Regarding her new role, Merete says, “I am extremely excited to join the Foodback family! The team has a product and a concept that I strongly believe in and their strategy is ambitious – which I love! I am also very much looking forward to returning to the F&B industry again. It is an industry that has taught me many principles and values that I have carried with me throughout my entire career. I look forward to using everything I have learned to help the industry create fantastic customer experiences.”

Merete has over 15 years of experience working within improvement of routines, processes and customer journeys from several key roles within Customer Support, Customer Relations and Customer Success. She has broad experience working with insight, and for the past three years she has owned and managed the customer experience in the mobile company Ice, where she has worked on operational improvement of the customer journey based on insight.
She has thereby played a central role in making Ice’s mindset more customer centric. In addition to her experience from telecom, Merete has several years behind her in the security industry and in the service industry, primarily hotels and restaurants.
